Our first P.R.E. Yedra VIII (1997–2016) was a stunning mare with lots of class and a proud and noble personality. She had very good conformation with an excellent head and neck. She moved very well with lots of expression. She came from a successful dam line (Romero Benitez), and her great grand dam Laboriosa III was full sister of Zalamero VI, foundation stallion at the well-known Caballos Españoles stud in Spain. Yedras sire Zepelin was branded Yeguada Militar but mainly has Cartujano origins. Among his ancestors are Gorron II, Hacendoso IV 1955 and Helicón. Yedra became Subcampeona de la Raza in 2008. She also was a very good broodmare – no matter what stallion she was bred to her offspring were of very good quality. One of them is Carmina V – Campeona Joven de Suecia 2009, invited to SICAB 2009 & 2011. We have chosen Yedras daughter Hera XXX and granddaughter Canaria de Kara to continue Yedras dam line at our stud.
